A marketplace befitting the brand
TI Media (formerly Time Inc.) is one of the world’s most influential media companies – home to 100 iconic brands, including Country Life. Country Life provides expert coverage of country house architecture, fine art, gardening and more. Property has always been a central pillar of the magazine’s print and digital offerings alike. Their International Property Site allows users to search through a selection of premium properties across the world and follow up with estate agents to purchase them. However, the site needed renovation as it was not meeting their demands.
Migration from the existing site would involve vast amounts of advert data imports from the agencies. Furthermore, integration would need to be achieved whilst keeping with Country Life’s own branded design. With the capacity to manage an array of data in various formats, Fiare proposed to provide the software, handle the hardware/hosting and undertake all feed maintenance. Effectively, Fiare would provide a comprehensive turnkey solution to allow Country Life to focus on sales and marketing.
A super-smooth migration of a database consisting of 150,000 properties and 2.5 million high resolution images was executed whilst preserving data quality. Country Life now have a quick, functional, fully-responsive site across all devices that delivers results – leads for the estate agents and access to their audience. Fundamentally, Fiare delivered an online marketplace aesthetically befitting the brand and its audience – with the beautiful premium properties at the forefront.
